With Malcolm Colquhoun
Malcolm graduated in physiotherapy from Queen Margaret College in Edinburgh in 1987 and has gained experience and knowledge in hospitals, clinics and with elite sports teams since then.
Over the past ten years Malcolm has combined work in his private practice with work in professional football and rugby.
After 12 years in the health service Malcolm was appointed senior physiotherapist at Hibernian FC in 1998, leaving to set up The Treatment Room in 2005. He retains an interest in high level sport and at present is the physio to the Edinburgh U17 rugby squad.
Malcolm has regularly attended postgraduate courses to update has skills and, as well as gaining a postgraduate diploma in musculoskeletal medicine, Malcolm has attended courses in dry needling and connective tissue manipulation recently.
Through this continuing education and working closely with other highly regarded health practicioners, Malcolm has developed a
hands-on approach to treatment based on a thorough assessment and clearly defined outcome aims.
